Ismail Vally

Ismail Vally was a businessperson who became a central figure in testimony before the Madlanga Commission regarding alleged irregularities in PPE tender processes. There were also exchanges about involving an individual named Gonnie to draft a letter, whom Vally described as "very trustworthy and quiet." At one point, Vally visited a hospital to assess whether someone was able to converse, and he requested a postponement of hearings on health-related grounds.
