Colonel Ntandoyenkosi Khuzwayo (Staff Officer to Provincial Commissioner: KZN)

Colonel Ntandoyenkosi Khuzwayo served as the Chemistry Section Commander at the Forensic Science Laboratory in KwaZulu-Natal, having joined the laboratory as an Assistant Forensic Analyst in 2002 and rising to a forensic analyst role by 2005. During the commission’s inquiry, she faced questions about refusing to accept exhibits due to a lack of storage space and flooding issues, and about directing her team to assist DPCI members at a crime scene—though she did not attend herself, explaining she was occupied with other work. Her testimony indicated she was not initially told the nature of the scene but assumed it involved a clandestine drug laboratory.
